MBSR Mini Retreat is a customized intensive 2-Day program which incorporates the Mindfulness techniques and tools to promote increase awareness for both aspects in Body & Mind.

Who Should Attend
It is suitable for anyone with or without any Yoga or MINDFULNESS experience


 
We organise this MBSR Mini Retreat at Tanjung Sutera Resort which is located 40 metres above sea level which offers a spectacular, uninterrupted 180 degrees view overlooking the true blue South China Sea to behold. It lies at an almost forgotten end of a vast palm oil plantation, on the eastern coast of Johor, Malaysia. Perhaps that is why it still retains its rustic charm with many wonders to discover.


Content of the Retreat

(1) To learn various methods of mindfulness-based stress reduction, including: Mindful breathing and sitting  , Mindful Stretching (Gentle Yoga), Body scan, Mindful daily activities

(2) To understand through mindfulness your stress reactions and their consequences.

(3) To respond skillfully to the challenges of your everyday life and to communicate effectively.

(4) To learn how to take care of your body, mind and spiritual needs.

We organise this MBSR Yoga Retreat at Lucky Valley Resort which has three mystical meditation halls (Energy Magnetism Pyramid, Golden Pagoda & Sun Moon Lake Bungalow)surrounded by pristine nature that support & embrace by the virgin jungle and infused with a calm and peacefulness that deeply effects your mind, Lucky Valley is the perfect place for your yoga and MBSR practice.



It is built based on the 5 elements of Chinese Philosophy - Earth, Metal, Water, Wood and Fire. Amidst the jungle, fruits, vegetables and herbs are grown and some animals, including the deer, are reared. The structures that were built to represent the different elements include the Cosmic Pyramid, the Golden Pagoda ( which has a parabolic dome ), the lakeside bungalow with a meditation deck over the water, the wooden hut nestled among the tall trees, the integrated health clinic, and the main administrative and residential complex. Energising yoga classes are the perfect start of your retreat days. Talks and discussions during the day will invite you to look at life in new ways and practicing mindfulness in beautiful surroundings will teach you how to create more peace of mind.
